Every one of our actions has an impact on the environment that surrounds us. We not only want to pass on to our consumers our passion for coffee, but also an increasingly sustainability-focused approach. This is why we are committed to minimising our environmental impact, in every area of our production chain, through tangible measures, starting with a greater use of renewable energies.
To date, all the energy we use comes from renewable resources: we are not yet able to produce all of it through our own photovoltaic plants, so we purchase part of it from a major energy supplier.
Our system in figures
The first step in our transition to renewable energy was to install a 70 kW photovoltaic system that produces and feeds over 100,000 kWh of electricity per year into the grid.
In 2022, a second 500 kW photovoltaic system went into operation, which is used directly by our production system. In the future, we only plan to purchase energy from renewable sources.
